Everyone who comes to our new facilities, as well as visiting the Museum, learn how we make sobaos and quesadas or participate in tastings or workshops, can now also have breakfast or an afternoon snack inside the cafeteria and on our wonderful terrace.
And not only that, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy the attractive menu on offer that Cristina Tresgallo, chef of the historic restaurant Villa de Santillana in Torrelavega, has designed for us.
Proposals that we have created giving a modern and contemporary touch, in a food truck set up in our large car park, between the terrace and the cafeteria-restaurant.
Taste the landscape
You will find our new facilities in an estate located next to the road that connects Selaya with Villacarriedo, at the entrance to the valley and surrounded by mountains and a wonderful landscape.
Next to the new functional building with its sandstone façade and large windows, which is fully integrated into the beautiful surroundings due to its aesthetics and materials, you will be able to enjoy our spacious terrace, another of our great attractions.
An ideal space to taste our freshly made products in the workshop, the delicious options available at our restaurant and cafeteria, and the perfect place to enjoy not only a pleasant sunny afternoon, but also to sit down to enjoy the landscape of the Pasiego mountains and experience the concerts and performances we organise during the summer months.
A delicious souvenir
Spread out over two floors and a basement, the new facilities house the processing, packaging and storage areas, as well as other spaces that make the new factory unique.
A glazed area above the work area allows visitors to observe the entire process of making our sobaos and quesadas, the same products that you can enjoy on site, in our internal and external restaurant area or buy directly in our store on the ground floor to taste wherever you want or to take away a delicious souvenir from Cantabria with you.
